Another quilt for ya (from the Chicago festival).
This is When You Wish Upon a Star, by Noriko Kido. It's hand pieced, appliqued, quilted, and trapuntoed.

I loved that the little circles (almost like "buttons") were trapuntoed. I'm probably never going to use that technique myself, but I liked how it was used here.

OK back to my gingerale-drinking, coach-potatoing cure for the punes. Hoping to be well enough to make an appearance at the "secondary browsing location" tomorrow!

that is beautiful!
that quilt is amazing. really amazing.
and I am a bit shocked to hear that there will be no trapuntoing in your future. :)
Sorry to hear you've been stricken. Better today, I hope.
That one looks good enough to eat!!
Feel better soon!
Wow, I really can't believe what people can make, it's insane. That is ART.
Punes? Are you running? Does this mean you're sick right before Maryland? Oh heck! Get better if so.
That quilt is indeed insane.
I was in awe of this quilt when it was at the Dome in 2006. The trapunto in person was unreal. http://flickr.com/photos/movinghands/91325079/
