Oh good grief.

When some random key stroke closes out your browser, wouldn't you like the post you just lost to have been some high quality literature so you could really bemoan its loss?

Things bringing me down today: Forgot the blackberry. There will be no outside world communications. Sucks.

Things softening the blow: Remembered the iPod. Phew. Because if I had forgotten both...

Things further softening: Got the giggly reminder message from Sam about my two days from now haircut. Sam is the reminder caller, not the cutter. He giggles everytime after he hears the "you've just reached my neeeeewwwww answering service, so leave a message and we'll see if it works" message that's been on the machine for the past two years. You know I can never delete it; the giggle is too good.

Things I should have done yesterday: Eaten more than 1200 calories (accidentally, folks, accidentally). Today I am starvingstarvingstarving.

Things I shouldn't have done: Stayed up way past my bedtime watching Friday Night Lights, then Standoff, then Veronica Mars, then House, and then Friday Night Lights again. What am I, 12? Hello, I have morning commitments in this horrific realm of adulthood.

Book I am reading that is sooooooo good so far I am totally entranced: "Sharp Objects" by Gillian Flynn.

Album I am loving, along with everyone else in the known world: My Chemical Romance "The Black Parade"

Singles I am loving despite (I think?) having heard them on the sofuckingbadit'shardtobelieve season premiere of the OC: "Running Up That Hill" Placebo, "Save Me" Jude.

Things I plan to do tonight: SLEEP. And maybe you know watch a couple reruns of Friday Night Lights. Can you spell obsession? Don't worry, Regina, you'll be invited to the weddin'.

Ciao for now.

Ohhh! I read the advance copy of Sharp Objects (I didn't get to go to Book Expo but the boss pulled through and brought me back BOOKS!) and I was entranced! I made my entire family read it and they loved it too. Fantastic Book!
