It's possible that GDMS is the swap to end all swaps. GDMS = Good Day Mail Swap! You put up a list of your random preferences: things you like, don't like, coffee vs tea, types of yarn, types of chocolate, etc. And then someone gets your name, and you get someone else's, and then a few weeks, or SO, later, you come home one day to a box waiting for you and HELLO it's a good mail day!
I received some stuff shown here (as well as stuff I can't show you because it found its way TO MY BELLEH before I even got my camera out!) from the lovely Leah and it was indeed QUITE a good mail day!

Lots of my friends have been in GDMS for ages; this was my first time signing up and oh yes indeed it was so worth it.
I got spoiled by Leah and in return I got to spoil Meg, and both the gathering and sending of the package and the receiving of the other package were so! much! fun!

Today was itself a good day as I spent all afternoon at the Beer Hoptacular. Mmmmm, beer. :)
