« Finished my second quilt of the year!!! YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY. | Main | I made seven blocks for my Bee quilt today! »

Third quilt finished! Yipee!

Just a simple nine patch done in a combination of muslin and prints.

Nesty Nine Patch complete! :)

Fancy braids in the mitred borders.

Border close-up

A pieced back as usual.

Pieced back.

Fresh out of the oven.

Poof poof, poof, poof.

This really represents my favorite kind of quilting: traditional piecing with modern fabrics.

Very happy to have finished this with my vacation coming to a sad end on Monday when summer classes begin. Stupid illness kept me from doing much on this break but happy to have been productive on the quilt front!! ;)

Oh wow, I love this! There is something very satisfying about the simple nine-patch. It may be my favorite quilt pattern! The flower fabric on the back is fab!

such a happy quilt!

(did you machine quilt the border too? with a template? or did you mark the fabric?
