Finished my second quilt of the year!!! YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY.
It's a big ole beast coming in at 85 x 96 post washing. Made from a mystery kit I purchased at the MN quilt show a few years back.
I did a combo of diagonal lines and free motion quilting, and it all went so very smoothly, thanks partially to my Pfaff Grand Quilter and partially to my new quilting throne setup! (Hint: 7" bed risers under my chair.)
You may remember I made another quilt earlier in the year using the scraps leftover from piecing the top of this one. I was glad I had one Biggie Star leftover to adorn this back with.
I slept under it last night and was both comfy and toasty....which was actually very welcome since it's 40 degrees here on May 26. Um...what?
And guess what? I am only blindstitching the binding away from being done with a baby quilt as well. WOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. ;)
