I have been quilting. (Piecing, actually.)
I've now got four rows of this put together
Only 13 more to go! That's less work than it sounds though as I already have some of the interiors of those rows put together. Like so:
I'm really hoping to get the quilt completed before the weekend is up (school starts again on Monday). If I haven't sewn the binding on yet, that's fine, but hopefully that'll be all I have left.

That looks totally fantastic! I can also really see this done in a solid or slightly textured light color with colored thread for the quilting.
You are so technical with your quilting vs. piecing terminology. It made me smile because that's so you and that's why I love ya!! I never think to call it the right thing, I'm too lazy for that.
Also, this is beautiful, the colors are fab.
Have fun finishing your piecing. I can't wait to see how the quilting turns out. hee. hee.
