My socks today have sparkly pink toes!!

I keep repeating that to myself as a mantra. Pink! Sparkly! Toes! And no one knows! Isn't that how life feels sometimes? Like there is all this Really! Awesome! Stuff! about you that no one ever notices.

{two hundred sixty-two} An old favorite.

In completely unrelated news, today is my last day of Fall semester (although it does turn out now that I am taking another state test next Saturday morning so in fact I will have to do some studying this next week) and I finally found some time to scan in negatives and perhaps get back to my Archive 365 Project I was doing earlier in the year.

Sadly in the process, sometimes one discovers things like CRAPPERS I LOST THE NEGATIVE FOR THIS SHOT. I mean, it's gone gone, likely left in some NYC darkroom in a negative holder (always dangerous, it's so easy to forget to check those when you're done for the day!).

Ah well. It's not as bad as the time the movers lost ALL my 20-odd-years worth of christmas ornaments. (At least this time it's my own fault.) But it's still a disheartening moment.

OK time for some lunch. There are rumors of a Tequila/Taco gathering tonight to celebrate the end of Fall semester and I need to make sure I head into that with a full tummy. IF YOU KNOW WHAT I'M SAYING. And I think you do.

oh Tequila. I haven't had that since before children. Once tends to forget stuff after Tequila. Even children I'm sure.

it's happy stuff. Oh dear I sound like I should call the AA right now.

ever had Tequila slammer with espresso? yeah... one is enough, in a good way. Or a bad way. It depends which way you look at it!!

Have fun.

congrats on finishing the semester!

my dad used to tell me he wore some special red underwear whenever he had a big meeting. just knowing he was wearing red undies and no one else knew was enough to calm his nerves.
