Tokyo: Fabric Heaven
Jen and I went to three quilt/fabric stores in Tokyo (and one I went to a few more times since it was very close to my hotel).
Here's a sampling of some goodies.
From Yuzawaya in Kichijoji:

From Okadaya in Shinjuku:

(The two on the left are going to Mom.)
From the sale bins at Okadaya:

(She gets the two left ones here also.)
From Cotton Fields in Kichijoji:

(Actually bought two of each pack so Mom and I can have one of each.)
There's more but you'll have to wait until 800 years from now when I am done uploading the travel photos and move on to uploading stash. Oh and I went to the Chicago quilt show last weekend too. So there's a few pictures from that, although a great deal of the show was stuff I'm so not interested in (journal quilts? ugh).

dude i seriously love the cotton fields one on the bottom soooo pretty!!
pretty, pretty!
i've been eagerly awaiting this post!
very nice, by the way.
You may use any of those in my quilt. :)
Beautiful fabrics! Sorry I disappeared for several days. :(
oooo FABRICY GOODNESS! I especially like the one on the left in the first pic and everything in the second!
Glad to see that you are showing off your fabric goodies. Shopping with you was so much fun!
Journal quilts=well, I guess okay, if it is some exchange/challenge/creativity enhancer or whatever people do. But in a quilt show? No thanks. Do people really care about someone else's journal quilt?
