Spring = Finally Sprung?

Warm weather + out-of-town guest = very little rest for Carolyn. Lots of eating, drinking, and walking. Very little sleeping, crafting or Buffy-ing. You know what they say: No rest for the wicked.

I started new socks a week ago; hopefully these won't take me five months like the last pair did. Of course this wee bit o' sock hasn't been touched in a week and a half, so perhaps it will.

Did some secret crafting this morning I'd love to show you. But then I'd have to kill you. So you'll just have to wait.

I did try to get Snip updated with my latest books read, concerts attended and flicks/TV watched. So if you're in desperate need of fresh content, there you go.

That picture is so appealing: just knitting and the remote.

I have socks from that yarn! They turned out great - they will go fast because you want to keep seeing what the next stripe will be. Plus they are thin enough to fit in regular shoes so good for Chicago winter.

Off to check the list of books and think about a job where I could read all day.

I am about to embark on my annual Buff-fest (finish grading finals-->commence season 1. Come up for air 7 seasons later). This year it will be in honor of you.

Despite all the fancy fancy sock yarns I have tried, I still MOST LOVE that. exact. sock. yarn. I LOVE IT! The colors! The stripes! so FUN!

Hey, I have that exact same yarn. Cool.

I love that yarn -- I am so into brown and blue together right now for some reason.
