In case you didn't realize how freakish I am, have I told you how I get have really bad dreams if I'm too hot when I'm sleeping?
And if my feet (specifically) are too hot, they won't just be bad, weird dreams, they will be NIGHTMARES and super realistic ones like family members getting brutally murdered in front of me / I wake up crying type of nightmares.
Last night, thankfully, I was just a bit too hot all over so it was a wackjob dream, but not quite a nightmare, although I think it may sound like one.
Mariko, Alicia and I were at some weird craft fair in a weirdly shaped hotel. (Yes, I met Alicia all of one time last spring and randomly last night she was in my dream.) And about a million weird but not that scary things happened, of which I have only vague memories so no point in really telling you (weird bathrooms, weird other people there I haven't seen in years, etc) and then at the very end of the dream we were eating cake, and all of a sudden, I said "Ow, what's that" reached into my mouth, and pulled out a line of all my bottom teeth on the right side all connected together!!!! And Alicia yelled "OH MY GOD!" And then I reached in my mouth and pulled out all the bottom teeth from the left side all connected together as well. And Mariko was like doot da doo, we have to do this, and this and Alicia's yelling at her "MARIKO, ALL HER TEETH JUST CAME OUT!" And we started running around trying to find a bathroom b/c for some reason we needed to rinse them off and we couldn't find one, there were only men's rooms....and then thank god I started waking up so I didn't lose anymore teeth or have anything else scary happen.
Hello, dream philosophers, what in the fucking hell does that mean?
And it's really making me sad that I can't remember my dream from the night before, because I vaguely remember that it was really weird too and I was trying to remember it as I woke up so I could tell you about it, but I just couldn't quite get ahold of it.
Yes, it is way too hot in my apartment these days. I believe I have already mentioned the Sahara-like conditions of it at this time of year. Plus that my cool-air humidifer ran out of water sometime in the middle of the night (crap, I forgot to fill it this morning!) so it was very hot and very dry and I guess my brain was on fire...
p.s. thanks Brainy, I love this. And this. I could do this all day....

I think it means you need to stay away from sticky caramels and that deep down inside you feel I don't care about your dental hygiene. That's it--I'm getting you a toothbrush for Christmas!

According to a site I found "Teeth represent a means of assimilating knowledge so it can be used."
"Language of the Mind: Teeth are the first instruments of the digestive system. In a dream, teeth symbolize a means of assimilating knowledge. Losing teeth is a common symbol in a dream indicating a change in the way the dreamer assimilates what is learned."
"Thoughts to Consider: Am I assimilating the knowledge available to me? Some people collect information without ever applying it to themselves or their lives. This is wasted energy. "Chew" on new ideas, assimilating their meaning and import to your Self and your life."
Or maybe you have a cavity?

Hmm, I just thought you were subconsciously thinking of making a dentist appointment. Juno's answer is better than mine tho...

You're welcome. And that is one freaky dream! Are you afraid of losing something important (other than your sanity)?

I have that recurring nightmare, too (teeth falling out). I read somewhere that teeth symbolize power, and that to dream that you have lost your teeth means that you are fearful of losing power, strength, control, etc. I had that same dream about two weeks ago, actually. But, I also have bad gums, and sometimes, my subconscious may just be reminding me that I am overdue for a cleaning.
