Thursday Update, à la Super Eggplant.
Making: No progress whatsoever on any quilts or any knitting.
Eating: Almost nothing as every day I try to start my 1500-calorie a day stop-being-so-fucking-horribly-fat plan. Then I fail miserably, and guilty over failure...gorge myself. It's a vicious cycle. La semaine prochaine, je commence encore...vraiment cette fois!
Reading: "The Whole World Over" by Julia Glass. I am not liking it very much so far, which is disappointing considering how I felt about "Three Junes"... :( Seems stiff and somewhat distant.
Watching: The last few episodes of summer shows (Fuck, summer's almost over?) - The Closer, Saved, Project Runway. Season 1 DVDs of Rescue Me.
Listening: Ben Kweller, Golden Smog (LOVE IT!), Guillemots, Paste Sampler 23, the Raconteurs, a million different covers of Gnarls Barkley's "CRAZY" the song of the summer,
Wanting: Clothes that fit. Or, more accurately, to fit into my own clothes and not need to go buy new FAT ones.
Current Goal: Press all the mystery quilt fabric that I washed three weeks ago and at least get all the cutting from clue #1 done, if not moving on to some of the sewing in clue #2.

I was very tempted to throw away "The Three Junes" while I was reading it. It was obvious that she had not done any research for the parts set in Scotland as there were so many errors about the geography and transport.

So glad you're here to tell me what to listen to. I just went to the library and reserved all of the above, except Ben Kweller, who they don't have.
