Yarn for Sale! Yarn for Sale! Plus backtack preparations are underway, my nephew is still gorgeous, and I think random thoughts.

Yarn Sale
Anyone wanna buy some yarn? Four items below. Note: 1) I only accept paypal so leave a comment using your paypal email if you're interested and I'll send you an invoice. 2) I only ship UPS so you must have a UPS available address. That said, no charge for shipping - you only pay for the yarn. and 3) is there a 3? um....no, there's not.

TAKEN!! YEA!! ITEM #1 Rowanspun Chunky. $50 which is about $6.25 each for 8 skeins. (Only 2 skeins pictured = the other 6 look exactly like those two.)
Yarn has been discontinued. Color is sh 983 which is Cardamom on this color card.

Hard to describe - I have photographed here on a sage green ottoman, with dark green, beige and gray in vicinity. It's really more "beige" than green. As Amy can tell you, I don't wear beige. So how I wound up buying this yarn, no one will ever know.

TAKENITEM #2 Yorkshire Tweed 4ply. $60 which is about $4.25 a ball for 14 balls. (Only 1 ball pictured. there are 14.)
Was intending to make Lisette out of this. But I don't think I would wear that (not really into peplums) and when I am going to knit with yarn this teeny? Uh, never, most likely.

TAKEN ITEM #3 Rowan Cotton Chenilla. $30 for 10 balls. (Only 1 of 10 pictured.)
Believe this was discontinued an eon ago. Kate or Ann made Sassy (from an old Rowan mag, #20 or #21 I think) for the other out of this yarn and you can view that here.

TAKEN ITEM #4 Peruvian Highland Wool. $10 for 7 balls. (Only 1 of 7 shown.)
Again with a beige-y color I just don't wear. Color 1557.

Backtack Preparations
So backtack has been cut out, buttons have been purchased, all that remains is the embroidering of an initial or two and the actual sewing together (that shouldn't take long, should it? ah ha ha haha).

I thought I was going to say more, but I need to get going so I can take a long, leisurely walk into work. Yup, work. Puke. Later, gators.

He is still cute, it's true.

He is. He's really, really cute.

You just don't seem like a pink chenille yarn type of person.

Hey Carolyn!

I would like to buy the "PINK" cotton chenille. I left the email for paypal in this comment. If you want, I can just pay you in person if paypal charges you any fees and I will pick it up from you whenever so you don't have to pay postage. Just let me know if you want the paypal or not. It doesn't matter to me. Take Care!!

I'm interested in
ITEM #4 Peruvian Highland Wool. $10 for 7 balls.

Do you really mean a total of $10 for 7 balls of yarn? Or do you mean $70?

If it's $10 for 7 balls of yarn, I'm there. Paypal is valerie[at]ucsd[dot]edu.

He kinda looks like you, too.

Your nephew is gorgeous!
I would be interested in the Rowanspun Chunky if it is still available? I live in Ireland and obviously would pay the shipping costs. Email me if this is okay?
Thanks
Sara
