NaBloPoMo 11: Freakout commences in 3, 2...

More from the Fabulous Fake Fall at the Tree Farm (3)

So I just took a much-needed nap only to jolt awake due to a horrifying realization.

Finally, Fake Fall is here! (2)

As soon as the semester ends, I won't have health insurance! For the first time in some 20-odd years. I know some of you run around cavalierly without it. But if you know me AT ALL, you know I am not cavalier about anything. And besides: I take allergy meds. DAILY. They only give you a month's supply at a time.

Finally, Fake Fall is here! (1)

AS IF I needed other things to be worrying about!! I still have a few weeks left of student teaching so I have lesson plans to write and student work to grade; I have a 15-lesson unit plan to write, as well as a portfolio to build (all due before Dec. 12); and since I'm an idiot who also took another class during her ST semester, I have an inquiring minds project, an author/illustrator study, and the second part (as yet unexplained) of our literary autobiographies to finish, all by November 28. WHAT?!?!

I am officially stressed out.

Oh THERE YOU ARE, Fall. I've been waiting for you. 2.

I don't react well to stress. WHO DOES.

Oh THERE YOU ARE, Fall. I've been waiting for you. 1.

And I have a friend in town tonight for dinner who I haven't seen in...at least a few years. Maybe five? I really don't feel I can cancel (nor do I want to) but you know all of dinner I'll be worrying in my head and only half paying attention. GLERGH.

Oh THERE YOU ARE, Fall. I've been waiting for you. 3.

Well, thanks for listening. And hope you enjoyed these photos from Fall 2010 when I had time for photography.

Oh don't stress out too much! You can do it. I know you can.

I'm sure you can find major medical insurance for $100 or so bucks per month. It won't be great, but you're covered minimally. Can't the teacher's union come up with something?
