SPRING BREAKKKKKKKKKK
Technically my break started as soon as my class ended Wednesday night. But it wasn't until this weekend that I really GOT GOING. Of course, this may be a shortlived burst as I am babysitting M & W and going to observe at elementary schools T & Th (CPS spring break does not line up with ours) but I will have my evenings free, so I'm hoping to have a LOT more to show you by the end of next week (including at least one, if not two, finished quilts, FINGERS CROSSED!!!).
So far, I've finished a bunch of things that were lying around 1/2 or 3/4 done, as well as worked on some blindstitching, some bee blocks (blocks for other people) and some blocks for me! :)
Finished some slippers for my Great Aunt Fritz
Finished a hat for me
Made Bee quilt blocks for Rangiswan
Finished a hat for my friend Matt
And got some nine patches sewn together that will eventually form the next baby quilt for my cousin Sophia
And I'm halfway through blindstitching/sewing down the binding on the Biggie Stars quilt!
Luckily today it's grey as all get out in Chicago so hopefully that'll mean another super productive day of crafting at home!! Although first I do need to workout, go buy printer ink, pick up some dish detergent and veggies, and a few other non-crafty things (boo). Later, peeps.
