I was having a really good day.
I reviewed yesterday's work this morning, gave it two thumbs up, then went out into the glorious weather (sunny & bright & 10 degrees? yes please), went down to school and turned in my final Unit (a fairly large project complete with two lesson plans within it), ran into two friends at school, had the most hilarious trainride conversation with Matt on the way back into the loop, sent off two packages, returned another stack of children's books to the library, and swung by the Christkindle market to get some bratts and potato pancakes to tide me over for the day.
But then I got home and I think that was all the energy I had as now I'm just so fat and so tired and so sluggish and my shoulder is sore and my thrown out back is achin'... I have got to get to work on the stuff that's due for tomorrow's final (a paper and a presentation that are basically a review of a minilesson (math) I did with some of the third grade kiddos), but I just can't get myself going. I'm having a coke and maybe I'll try lying down for a quick nap and see if that's enough to refuel the tank.
Months and months of insomnia are taking a toll.

It sounds like a great day! But, then, I can see how getting home and doing schoolwork would be a downer after all that. Hope a nap will give you the quick reset you need!
