It is too hot for life.

Stupid climate change, causing 80 degree days in October a week after the heat came on.

Finally, Fake Fall is here! (2)

In other news, I have listed a bunch more knittin' books in my Amazon selling binge. Get 'em while you can. Heh.

Weirdly, it is really hard to sell fiction paperbacks because there are other morons (presumably huge stores???) selling the same book for like 79 cents when I am hoping to get just $4 or $5 for it (most of which were at least $10 new, if not more).

Some of those that don't sell will have to be donated because I just don't have the room for them as I continue to bring books of childhood home from my parents' garage to live here.

thing 1: it is WAY TOO HOT TODAY and I smell horrendous. I hear you on the hatred from this weather.

thing 2: I hate those jackhats who sell fiction for $.99 on amazon. HATE. It's basically impossible to sell most novels on there. I do okay with academic books but most novels end up in my beloved free book bin, or given to friends. You might try lugging a few choice books to an actual store and seeing what they can give you for them?

.79 and .99, in some cases, is actually a little high. Once the paperback is out, amazon will offer you the hardcover for less.
Got my last hardcover mystery--out a mere month or two, mind you--for .71. Bought any pop DVDs lately? They go for .01.
Root problem: glut of stuff.
Solution: live simply. Ignore much.
