So you may have heard me talk about the Chicago Cultural Center recently. Not only do they show great exhibits there, but the building itself has lots of lovely architecture (although of a million varying styles) and many little nooks and crannies to explore.

These are terrific! I love the building, and almost got married there. Last year at the Flamenco Festival, I spent more time gazing around the auditorium then listening to the performers. When I first moved to Chicago, the Cultural Center served as the public library while Harold Washington was being built, and it was sort of weird to go looking for mysteries and romances among the marble and mosaics.
