My dad is coming to visit and that is the one and only reason this stuff has crossed the threshold.

As you can see, I've also been stocking up on beer. Americans on the left, Belgians & Brits on the right.

You are a good daughter.

LOL. Have enough beer there?

And I think I may go get some braunschweigher tomorrow because I love the stuff.

I am not sure what that is, but it is large and scary. Also, may I have a beer? you don't have enough? okay.

And you have London Pride. One of my faves.

Dude, I've never had domestic braunschweiger. That's a bit scary to me somehow. I like the imported liverwurst (though it sounds like you either love it or hate it)...But the beers, I like it all.

You're such a good daughter! I don't know if I ever told you how much John enjoyed your dad's Peckinpah book, but he loved it. He's got other Peckinpah books, but he delved right into your dad's and then promptly went out and bought a bunch of his films.

your post made me laugh out loud. I hope you have a great visit with your dad.

We have a block of frozen scrapple in our freezer; my husband grew up in PA. Yuck.

I have liverwurst in my fridge for the same reason.

Interesting way you choose to stock your fridge.
