Overheard at Ravinia
Girl 1: So I'm like totally into Frank Sinatra right now, just can't get enough.
Girl 2 [looking kinda sarcastic, raised eyebrow]: Oh yeah?
Girl 1: Yeah, I mean, you know, people are just always talking about him and I was like um whatever Frank Sinatra. Boh-ring. And then one day I decided to like actually listen to the music. And it's like wow, man, this is good. That guy really had something, you know.
Girl 2 [very sarcastic this time]: Yeah. Ya think?
Girl 1: I mean, I can't stop listening to it. He was really good.
Girl 2 [shaking her head]: Hello, since 1940...
Somehow Girl 1 never seemed to catch her friend's tone. But I was certainly cracking up.
