Your Weekend To-Do List, compiled expressly just for you.

1) Read this essay about Lloyd Dobler. It's lovely, as is Betsy, its author.

Belmont

2) Go check out this lovely quilt and while you do, start singing that blog's URL to the phrase "don't call me daughter" from Pearl Jam "Daughter" and see if you can get it stuck in your head for a very, very, very long time.

3) Read this interview with Joss Whedon and start hyperventilating about how goooood Dollhouse is going to be (and blow kisses to Tahmoh). When it starts. Next January. (Ugh.)

Monday Sunset

4) Check out this awesome photo.

5) Obsess over these snappy red summer sandals.

Himeji-Jo 6

6) Wish that someone would sew you dresses (adult size) like this one, this one or this one.

7) Email me and plan your next visit to Chicago.

Didn't we decide, long ago, that every list should have 7 items? So there you go!

p.s. item NOT on your to-do list: break the scrolly thing on your blackberry and know that you can't get it fixed until Saturday a.m. at the earliest. Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo........................... Frak.

Loved that essay.

And. That quilt. I want to make it. but, I still haven't finished my first quilt. I need to put a binding on it. Border? Binding?

Also. Those dresses! adorable. that reversible one!! wouldn't it be awesome to have an adult sized reversible dress like that?

Sorry, we won't be wearing the same sandals this summer.

How's the planning of your holiday in August?

I don't know when my next trip to Chicago is, but I love that quilt. I need a free-motion foot.

P.S. great pics

Ok, I can adultify that shift with the sleeve ruffle, the rest would look oddish on a grownup. You are not a fruit printed kind of girl. Ya, I'll get right on it.
