I'll be gone for a few days.

So I'm closing things up here to avoid buckets o' spam when I come home.

• These pups I'm going to have some cuddle time with. Or "sit near them and pet Buddy so he makes the whale sounds" time.

• New albums from Nada Surf, Missy Higgins, Clare Bowditch and The Scotland Yard Gospel Choir, a Chicago band I randomly heard on KEXP and am now totally diggin'.
