Lazy Weekend.
I didn't do much, although I managed to wash a bunch of fabric for two baby quilts that need whippin' up. And I also did the first block in Amanda's quilt-a-long. Apparently I had baby quilts on the mind as I finally decided to start using some Noah's Arc fabric that's been hanging out in the stash. I have a couple other fabrics that either a) are actually Arc themed or b) just look good with this one, and I had never figured out quite what project I wanted to do with them. Problem solved!

These are pretty big blocks - as you can see from the Vesper Yarn hanging out next to it. Why the girl who almost never knits continues to buy yarn? Unexplainable.

Look, sheepies!

the fabric is wicked cute~
I understand about the yarn thing too. why do I like it? why do I have to have discussions with myself in the fabric store to disuade myself from browsing it? I'm sure another crochet wave will come along and sweep me up at some point, but right now I need to stay focused on quilting!
p.s. the doodled stars in my friendship star quilt are from my machine quilter. I'll try to locate the pattern and send you a link..
your block looks great! I like the sheepies.
you could always be a yarn collector. :)
That is such sweet fabric. You are a quilting machine these days!
The quilt-a-long sounds like so much fun! And I love that fabric.
