And I will indeed be bearing a gift.
Finished just in time to rush home, take pictures, wrap, BLOG, and run to French class to present the Momma-to-Be with a Curious George masterpiece.
Voila!

Unfortunately I seem to have the shakes this afternoon as all the pictures I took were blurry...

So I'll just show you one favorite panel:

And the blurry Ladybug back! Ladybugs!

Man I cannot wait to come home tonight and SLEEEEEEEEP. (Up until midnight basting on Monday after late night at work, up quilting until 2 am Tuesday after late night at work, up binding & blindstitching until 11:30 last night after late night at work.... see how work is always interfering with my real priorities!)

Stupid work. I, too, have been stuck in front of my computer for what seems like days and days, and not doing anything FUN.
Phew! No wonder you were shakey!
(It was worth the effort, though. She'll love it.)
Beautiful! It was so worth the late nights. She'll love it.
I need to try machine quilting. Do you use cotton for your top and bobbin threads?
Yeah I hate work for that very reason. But I love the quilt. Great idea
Argh! Those shakes are hard won. Get some sleep!
That is crazy cute.
so. stinkin'. cute.
you did it...hurray! the quilting looks great-it all does.
That is THE MOST awesome. I've never been much for quilts -- they're nice, but never something I'm itching to have -- but THAT is a freakin' awesomely cute quilt. :) She's a lucky girl...
Wow, that is wonderful! What a great piece of work. Lovely.
It's cute! The stipple quilting looks really good.
beautiferous!!
It's perfect! What a lucky momma/baby/family. Hope the weekend holds lots of snooze time for you, though (or at least a little snooze time?).
There's a very lucky baby and very lucky momma out there. That quilt is so sweet -- I don't know what I like better the Curious George panels or the sweet lady bugs on the back. Your color choices were great, too. Hopefully this weekend brings you a little snoozing!
It came out great. I want to fold it up and read it like a book.
Stinking cute Shakey!
That is a wonderful gift!
Wow! That is an awesome quilt! Great work! Also I have double admiration for your quilting skillz since I just tried my hand at freehand quilting last weekend and couldn't do it to save my life. Seriously, I could've sewed it better and faster by hand. Yikes!
