Eight Things for Lara, that wench.
1. I'm really addicted to baked apples these days.

2. In quilting, as in life, sometimes complement is important and other times contrast is important.

3. Pumpkin spice latte at Starbucks? Delicious. Pumpkin Chai tea at Argo? Heinous.
4. I'm lonely. And not because I didn't go to Rhinebeck, so don't bother with that one.

5. My feet are bigger than they should be, given my height.
6. Oh sweet monkey sundae, eight is a lot when you're THIS tired, the HUGE amount of tired that I ALWAYS am these days, unexplainably.

7. Also unexplainable, the nagging discomfort and sometimes pain in my right "flank" that's been going on for over three months now. Even ultrasound couldn't provide a clue.

8. New episode of Bones tonight = Yay! Probably working so late that I'll probably have to struggle too stay awake by the time I watch it = Boo!

Bones tonight?!? I figured it was baseball this week. Does that mean there's House too? I was prepared to be all lonely tonight with mr. strizz out of town and no good tv to keep me company, but this changes everything.
The quilt looks great -- I love your #2 comment.
fun list.
you've got me wondering a few things...how tall are you?
are you done with your friendship star blocks yet? they look lovely.
is that the leg that you hurt your knee?
stars still pretty.
um, melanie your "flank" is your side (pretty much from hip to armpit). so yes it happens to be on the same SIDE of my body with the bad knee, but it's not on that leg!! :)
Ooooo pretty. Oh, and my feet are bigger than they should be, too. In case you wanted to know. :-)
That tired thing plus flank is worrisome.
1) I'm not a wench, WENCH :-P
2) That quilt is looking fabulous!!
3) Lonely sucks :(
4) I agree with Claudia.
Your stars sure are purty. So nothing new after the ultrasound? I say relaxing with the g-5 block is in order. After all, I am piecing B-3 already. hee heeeee
Whoa...those are some mad quilting skills...way beyond my little square blocks. Can't wait to see the finished quilt.
Sorry to hear you're not feeling so well...phantom pains are always a worrisome.
Well that vitamin B that makes you queasy should help with energy, hopefully. The flank pain is odd though. Is it your booty and down the back of the thigh, or what?
on the side, like where you curve in at the waist. between hip and armpit.
Pretty!
