"More than you can shake a stick at."
So how much more is that exactly? More than a jar of pickles, less than a barrel of pork rinds? More than Princess Di, less than Madonna? Is it like, say, if you saw one dog, you could shake a stick at him, but if you saw twenty dogs, you'd need a lot more than one stick?
Its meaning is so vague and unknowable that I believe its usage should perhaps be altered to something more applicable to our modern world. Here, I'll give you an example: Boy, that Josh Duhamel, he's got more booty than you can shake a stick at.
