Things to think about from Paste Issue #19
- Little Brother "The Minstrel Show" (rap)
- The Guggenheim Grotto (gaelic folk pop)
- Corrine Bailey Rae "To a Star" (this was on Grey's! - only available in UK right now?)
- Brad Mehldau "Day Is Done" (jazz piano)
- Tom's Diner remix by Dangermouse at suzannevega.com
- Editors (too much like Interpol? no says this guy)
- Rogue Wave "Descended Like Vultures"
- old Run-D.M.C., selftitled, "King of Rock", "Raising Hell", "Tougher than Leather"
- Mugison. crazy icelandic dude.
- Fiona Apple? Wilco? I'm not convinced on either of those. and Nellie McKay. that album really didn't stick with me. Too quirky.
- James Blunt's "No Bravery" was written about the horrors of war, written while in the barracks in Kosovo while serving in the British army. Interesting.
